This album was recorded in my dorm room (I-6 Keynes College) while I studied abroad in the UK (University of Kent, Canterbury), often while downing a bottle of off-brand White Lightning (a strong cider sold in two-liter plastic bottles). Though I was soaking up all the culture I could during my time, musically I was really going hard for American roots music, which was reflected in the songs I wrote.

Recording equipment was sparse and limited to a £30 charity shop guitar, various plastic cigarette lighters for slides, one harmonica (which I pitch-shifted in the recording software as needed), a USB mic, and Audacity freeware on a 2004-era laptop. So it's pretty lo-fi. The recording files are long since gone due to a hard drive crash, so this is the last and only mix I'll ever have of it. Bandcamp doesn't take mp3's, so these wav files are converted from the existing mp3s. Sorry.
